Day 1

You should arrive at the airport for your overnight flight to Marrakech.

Day 2

Discover Marrakech palaces and monuments

We will take you back in time and discover some of Marrakech’s historical landmarks. Our knowledgeable guide take you on a journey around surrounding the city’s illustrious buildings. We will visit the austere Koutoubia Mosque and its minaret – a beautifully proportioned example of Hispano-Moresque art rising 80 metres into the sky. We also discover the El Bahia Palace, a 19th-century building with a 2-acre garden and a haphazard arrangement of inner courtyards and apartments.  We see and learn of the Saadian Tombs, which are intricately decorated with engravings, colourful tiles and Arabic script. Witness the collection of art historian Bert Flint on display in the Tiskiwin House, a marvellous exhibition of native crafts from the caravan routes in the Atlas and Saharan regions. To quench our thirsts we stop for a drink a glass of mint tea on the way, see some craftsmanship.

Day 3

Camel Ride in Palm Grove Adventure and Moroccan spa & soothing hammam 

Today we go on a fascinating tour through the incredible Palm Grove of Marrakech. We trek with a dromedary camel through authentic villages and oasis-like landscape.  Donning your cheich (protective turban veil), you and your sturdy new camel friend trek safely through the palm groves past villas, deluxe properties and Berber homes.  We take a sit back with a refreshing glass of mint tea at the home of one of the local Berber families before heading back to the city.

After the great adventure you’ll be whisked away to enjoy some rest and relaxation, pamper and cleanse yourself with an authentic Moroccan spa experience. Loosen your muscles, let your pores open and allow your skin to breathe in the hammam steam room. After an exfoliating body scrub and a long comforting massage, with the use of authentic Moroccan products such as Argan oil, beldi and rhassoul, you are sure to feel refreshed and revitalised.

Day 4

Agadir, Beach Resort and Souks

We’ll leave the hustle and bustle of Marrakech behind to make the most of your time in Agadir, the “Miami of Morocco” and spend the day at one of Morocco’s most popular beach resorts; while away the afternoon on a private beach. A lounge chair and parasol will be waiting for you. Awaken your senses with a swim in the ocean or take a stroll down the long promenade as you soak up the vibrant atmosphere.

We’ll have a 2 -course lunch on the golden beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, a guided tour of the city’s highlights or meander through the marketplace. Marvel at the panoramic views of the bay and people-watch in the bustling marina as you refresh yourself in the soothing Atlantic breeze.

Moroccan Dinner & Show in a Riad

Our last night in Marrakech will be an evening filled with Moroccan cuisine and tradition, you will be taken to the palace of Menzeh Dada, located close to the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa, Menzeh Dada palace is the former home of a pasha, now a stylish riad (house). Admire its beautiful interior as you are escorted to your table and get ready to just relax and enjoy a Moroccan world of food, music and dance. All you will need to do is sit back, relax and savour an authentic four-course dinner – with four different tagines – while enjoying Moroccan duo play oud and tam-tam, enjoy a live performance with an exotic belly-dancing performance.

Day 5

Moroccan Cooking & Market Shopping Experience

After you have a lovely lie in and delicious breakfast we will be whisking away to learn how to prepare and cook traditional, succulent Moroccan specialities. We will visit a vibrant local market for ingredients, and under the watchful gaze of a local cooking tutor who will create a tasty shared meal for everyone to enjoy at the end of the lesson.

Delve into the world of spice and fragrance as you learn to balance the flavours of cumin, turmeric, paprika and cinnamon. Begin at a local market to hand-pick your fresh vegetables and, laden with ingredients, proceed to the nearby kitchen.

Work step-by-step with your knowledgeable teacher to prepare the dish of the day – a tagine of lamb, chicken or beef. Once the meal has been perfected, serve it in a traditional earthenware pot and enjoy. Leave armed with all the required tips to recreate the delicacies in your own home, ready to impress friends and family.

Day 1

The Nairobi Experience

We will begin the tour with the Nairobi experience; soak up the best of Nairobi on this guided walking tour! Explore Uhuru Park, take in impressive landmarks. Your knowledgeable guide will take you on a discovery tour of the best of Nairobi. We see the Parliament buildings, the Kenyatta Conference Center, the Mzee Jomo Kenyatta Mausoleum, the August 7th Memorial Park, and Uhuru Park. We also visit the National Archives and other popular sites located in the city centre.

Walking through the city streets and travelling by public transport will offer you the chance to mingle with the locals and learn about their daily lifestyle and sample traditional cuisine at a local restaurant.

 Day 2

Nairobi National Park, Karen Blixen Museum & Giraffe Center

Marvel at the wild creatures of Nairobi National Park as we search for wildlife on the outskirts of Nairobi. We see the various herbivores roaming the park’s grasslands. We search for the 300-plus bird species in the park, and keep your eyes open for lion, cheetah, and leopard.

We then sample local cuisine at a nearby restaurant for lunch. Then, visit the Karen Blixen Museum, named after the woman who wrote Out of Africa. At the museum, we take a trip back to the colonial period and learn about the lives of people who inhabited the region. We see original antique furniture and a reconstructed colonial coffee factory. Then, drive to the Giraffe Centre to have an encounter with the endangered Rothschild giraffe.

Day 3

Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha full day trip safari from Nairobi takes you to Lake Naivasha the second largest freshwater lake in Kenya which a 2 hour drive away. Dr. Dame Daphne Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage 

Today we escape Nairobi’s hustle and bustle and head to the suburbs to see orphaned animals being cared for at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. The day begins with a pick-up from your hotel to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust just outside of Nairobi. Home to orphaned elephants and rhinos, the trust is named in memory of David Sheldrick, the famous naturalist and founder warden of Kenya’s giant Tsavo East National Park. Dr. Dame Daphne Sheldrick, along with six trustees, oversee and direct the operations of the Trust.

Day 5

Enjoy an entire day at your leisure.

Your final day in Nairobi is at your leisure, you may either relax, enjoy the excellent facilities at the hotel or go shopping before transferring to the airport at the appropriate time for your return flight to Heathrow.

Day 1:

Your journey starts the moment you touch down at Mahebourg, Mauritius.

Day 2:

Climb the Chamarel waterfalls – Explore the salt pans museum.

Today you’ll be admiring sweeping views of the salt pans of Tamarin Bay and the undulating landscape of Chamarel.  Our guide will take you to visit the waterfalls of Chamarel to take in the spectacular 7 Coloured Earth. Later, you will come face to face with the Rhumerie then grab a sumptuous Mauritian lunch.  On this guided tour we will witness first-hand the production steps of agricultural rum, completing the experience with a tasting. We visit Black River Gorges to see the island’s flora and fauna and Trou aux Cerfs, a volcanic crater with panoramic views over the whole island. Once we had the chance to soak up the spectacular sights we’ll end the tour with afternoon tea on the veranda of Eureka, one of the oldest colonial mansions remaining on the island.

Day 3:

A Trip to Ile aux Aigrettes & Blue Bay Marine Nature Reserves.

Rising with the first rays of dawn, you’ll enjoy an early breakfast, then mount up to explore the hidden treasures in the fauna and flora unique to Mauritius. Todays tour will begin once we hop aboard a ferry which will take you to the island and nature reserve of Ile aux Aigrettes. We spend the day leisurely capturing the exotic and indigenous animals that thrive in this coastal forest whist on a guided walk. We then head off to the nearby marine national park of Blue Bay for a cruise in a glass-bottom boat. With luck, you may even see a turtle pass underneath.

Day 4:

Guided Hiking Tour

Today we will set off into one of the most inaccessible parts of the Mauritius discovering the wildlife on a picturesque hike. You will see a volcanic crater, freshwater cave, and one of the last remaining wildlife sanctuaries in the country, Ile D’Ambre.

Day 5:

Cruise along the Western Coastline – Dolphin-Watching

Today is devoted in its entirety to dolphin watching, we board a luxury yacht  and cruise along the western coastline. Our guides will explain the natural habitat of the spinner dolphin. So bring along a pair of binoculars for an even better view of any dolphins that cross your path as we enjoy a swim in turquoise waters followed by a tasty barbecue. Then relax in the gentle breeze amid tropical scenery.

Day 5:

Guided Sea Kayaking

Today’s adventure will begin straight after breakfast, you will be whisked away to discover the thrills of sea kayaking on this guided tour of the north eastern coast of Mauritius. Once we get in our kayak, we follow the knowledgeable guide, and paddle our way to Amber Island.

Day 6 & 7:

Shop till you drop – Relax – Get Pampered 

Mauritius is considered a shopping paradise. Treat yourself to branded goods, luxurious textiles, or glittering diamonds. All you’ll need is you flight tickets and passport to benefit from duty-free prices.  You’ll be shown around by a guide to help you find the perfect souvenirs and gifts from an abundance of handicrafts on sale in Floreal and Curepipe.
